Hamil 4-H Camp Counselor Achievement Scholarship

$1,000 (two awarded)

Eligibility for these scholarships will be limited to Rock Eagle 4-H camp counselors and will be based on review of achievement application summarizing 4-H, organizational, and academic achievement with emphasis on Rock Eagle camp counselor experience. The scholarships will be presented to one male and one female recipient each year. Recipients may attend any accredited college or university. 

Art and Helen Hargrove Memorial Scholarship $500
Applicant must submit the Statement of Financial Need. Not over 19 as of January 1 of applicatin year
Louis Hill ABAC 4-H Scholarship $1,000  ABAC Students only, incoming Freshman
Irvin 4-H Scholarship $1,000 (two awarded) Any Agricultural Major; Any Accredited College or University
Rachel Hardy Johnson Memorial Scholarship $1,000 Applicant must submit the Statement of Financial Need, Preference given to a district or state officer and freshman

Eligibility Guidelines:

1. Must be an outstanding 4-H member who will be an incoming freshmen.

2. Must attend ABAC in the summer or fall of the current year.

UGA College of Family and Consumer Sciences Alumni Association Scholarship

Sponsor: The UGA College of Family and Consumer Sciences Alumni Association

One $500 Scholarship

Eligibility Guidelines:

1. Must be a 4-H member during current year and must not have passed their 19th birthday as of January 1 of the current year.

2. Applicant must be a 4-H member who is graduating from high school during current year or enrolled in the College of Family and Consumer Sciences at the University of Georgia in the summer or fall of the current year. The recipient must be enrolled as a FACS student for one semester and maintain a "C" average. After satisfying the one semester requirement, the full amount will be awarded.

One Scholarship $2,000

Eligibility Guidelines:

1. Must be a 4-H member during current year and must not have passed their 19th birthday as of January of the current year. Applicant must be a 4-H member who is a high school senior and an incoming freshman at the University of Georgia College of Agricultural and Environmental Sciences in the fall of the year application is submitted.

2. Must plan to major in agriculture or agricultural related field.

Eligibility Guidelines:

1. Must be a 4-H member during the current year and must not have passed their 19th birthday as of January 1 of the current year.

2. Applicant must be ready and qualified to enter college the fall term of the year application is made. If applicant has completed one term of college, then he/she is not eligible for the scholarship.

3. Recipients may enter any branch of the University System of Georgia.

4. Provide a Statement of Financial Need.

Eligibility Guidelines:

1. Applicant must be 4-H member who is graduating from high school during the current year, or who is in their freshman, sophomore, or junior year in college. If enrolled in College, must be involved in Collegiate 4-H.

2. Scholarship recipient may use the scholarship at any accredited school, college, or university.

3. Preference shall be given to 4H'ers from Glynn, McIntosh, or Camden County 4-H members.

4. Preference shall be given to a 4-H member active in the 4-H Horse Program.

5. Recipients may enroll in any accredited school, college or university.

Three $1,000 Scholarships

Eligibility Guidelines:

  • Participated in Project S.A.F.E. on the county level for at least two years as a high school student.
  • Applicant must be currently enrolled in the county 4-H program.
  • Applicant must show involvement in the 4-H program outside of Project S.A.F.E. events and activities.
  • Applicant must demonstrate involvement in citizenship and leadership activities.
