Why should
you support Georgia 4-H?
• Recent
research validates that 4-H'ers graduate from high school
at a rate greater than 95%, attend college at a rate greater
than 90%, and become successful in business at a very high
level. Your organization can utilize
these Georgia 4-H'ers and support groups as fertile
ground for recruiting future employees and customers.
• 4-H reaches
183,320 youth in Georgia. In addition to these students,
4-H involves county extension agents, adult volunteers,
parents of 4-H’ers, and 4-H alumni. Supporting youth
will influence these people to look to your organization
as someone with whom they want to do business.
• Being
a company that believes in community service and serving
its constituency is a perfect match with the mission of
4-H.
• Since 4-H is
the oldest and largest youth organization in Georgia, it will be advantageous to your organization to say that it supports 4-H.
• Exposure
to current leaders in Georgia (county extension agents,
4-H parents, volunteers, and alumni) and future leaders of
Georgia (4-H'ers). This exposure as a 4-H sponsor makes
a lasting impression with 4-H'ers, agents, and volunteers.
• Networking
opportunities with potential clients who are also Georgia
4-H supporters.
• Georgia
4-H has a long list of political supporters, many of whom
were former 4-H’ers. Political leaders consider Georgia
4-H a partner in public education, and many of these leaders
are present at 4-H programs and activities.
