ACHIEVEMENT SCHOLARSHIPS

2012 Georgia 4-H Achievement Scholarships

Who? Senior (12th grade) 4-H'ers and 4-H'ers currently enrolled in college are eligible.

Application is considered complete when each of the following items has been received by the deadline, March 1, 2012. Please include the following items in your submission:

  1. Scholarship Application, including all required signatures (typewritten 12 pt. font)
  2. One page, typed resume (10 point font, one sided, 1/2 inch margins max.)
  3. Official high school or college transcript (No copies will be accepted). 
  4. Personal statement prepared by 4-H'er (Not to exceed 1 page, 12 pt. Times New Roman font, double spaced). 
  5. Letter of recommendation from County Extension Agent or Program Assistant (not to exceed one page). 
  6. If you wish to be considered for scholarships that consider your financial need, attach the statement of need located on page 4 of the scholarship application.
One application serves all Georgia 4-H Achievement Scholarships. However, the 4-H'er is responsible for indicating on the application if he/she wishes to be considered for scholarships that consider financial need.

2012 SCHOLARSHIPS

To be considered for the 2012 Georgia 4-H Scholarships, completed (including all requested information and required signatures) applications must be received on or before March 1, 2012. 

Mail completed application and supporting materials to:

PLEASE NOTE: An application is not considered complete unless all required elements, including signatures, are included. Those applications missing information or not received by the Georgia 4-H Foundation by the due date will not be considered. The due date is not a "postmarked by" date; any application, regardless of postmark date, will not be considered if received after March 1, 2012. We encourage you to apply early.
